How does the Laundry Egg work with the rinse cycle?
If your machine allows, you can actually shorten or skip the rinse cycle, helping to conserve water, time, and energy without compromising the effectiveness of the Ecoegg.
The rinse cycle is much shorter, and only a small fraction of the pellets will dissolve during this process. Since the Ecoegg doesn't contain soap agents, it leaves virtually no residue on your clothes. In contrast, soap-based detergents tend to cling to fabrics, often leaving behind a residue even after multiple rinse cycles. This residue is a common cause of skin irritation, which is one of the key reasons the Ecoegg was designed— to be gentle on sensitive skin and more environmentally friendly.
