What do I do with my used mineral pellets and pellet bags?

We recommend placing your pellets into your general waste bin once you have used them. Although the ingredients are biodegradable, we have not tested the effect on wildlife and plants, so cannot recommend putting the pellets in your compost.

The newer paper and plastic mix pellet bags cannot be recycled so need to go in your general waste bin. The older plastic pellet bags can be recycled (category 5) but they need to be taken to a supermarket. Please place in the soft plastics recycling bin and not in your recycling bin at home.
